This story is based on an actual training session developed over many years with many teams. It has been successfully conducted by our myTouchLine coaching staff and refined with best practices over time. It is specifically designed to be fun, engaging, help build friendships and teach fundamental soccer skills to young players.
 
This session is designed to be the first soccer training session – ever. It introduces U6 players (4- and 5-year-olds) to their first soccer team where they start to learn to play and grow together as teammates. They meet their new teammates and learn a little about each other leading to new friendships. Soccer specific exercises are introduced in a fun, engaging manner and are essential skills to learn at an early age including dynamic stretching warm-ups, instep foundations, outstep dribbling for control and the introduction of field scanning.
